Teaching

I helped initiate and organize a weekly didactic conference for Plastic surgery rotation for NYMC medical students and surgical residents as well as physician assistants to review the following in order every month: Journal club, Indications, Morbidity and Mortality, Invited Interdisciplinary lecture. Over the past 7 years this has led to me mentoring dozens of students and residents leading to national presentations and publications, one of which won the best published paper in 2018. I am currently actively working with 3 medical students on clinical research projects and mentor a handful of NYMC students on their various projects.
